Dawson's Game and Trout Lodge is conveniently located in the beautiful province of Mpumalanga, South Africa. This Mpumalanga lodge is only a short hour's drive from the Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport (KMI). Transfers can be arranged between the lodge and airport.
The lodge is located at the head of the scenic Nelshoogte Pass in Mpumalanga, South Africa. Guests can also travel to the Kruger National Park, which is only an hour and a half's drive away.
Directions to Dawsons Game and Trout Lodge
From Johannesburg
Take the N12 to Witbank, which joins the N4 and carry on towards Nelspruit. Turn off at the Machadodorp (R541) and follow signs to Badplaas. At the T-junction turn left to Barberton (R38) and the entrance to the lodge is approximately 15.2km up the road on your left.
From Midrand
Take the M1 North to Pretoria, follow the N1 to towards Polokwane (Pietersburg) and branch off on the N4 to Witbank and later Nelspruit. Follow directions to Machadodorp and the lodge as above.
From Pretoria
Take the N4 to Witbank/Nelspruit following direction to Machadodorp and the lodge as above.
From OR Tambo International Airport
Take the R21 to Boksburg, turning east to Witbank on the N12, which join the N4. Follow the N4 where you will be able to turn off at Machadodorp on the R541 and follow signs to Badplaas. At the T-junction turn left to Barberton (R38) and the entrance to the lodge is approximately 15.2 km up the road on the left.
From Kruger Mpumalanga International Airport
Take the R40 to Barberton and turn off onto the R38 to Badplaas. The entrance to Dawson's Game and Trout Lodge is approximately 37km after the turn off on your right.
